Together We Act is a non-profit theater company for people who stutter. They will be revising their performance of "Tough Cookies" a one-act comedy by Edward Crosby Wells.
Together We Act is committed to educating, motivating, and building confidence in people who stutter, so that they may have the opportunity to realize and reach their full potential through the process of acting.
"Tough Cookies" is about three women, a daughter, her mother, and the daughter's friend. The dynamic between these three women is queer and wild.
The three actresses in this play had never acted before their first performance this past February.
Together We Act's performances are as much of an inspiration for the audience as they are for the actors. The hope is that the audience will be moved to realize that there is nothing in life worth of holding them back.
