It's Hell Week. You suffer rivals, make friends, and make believe. It happens, it ends, and you leave. The Drexel Players (MONUMENT) invite you to belong, just for a moment, and experience an interactive orignal work about the parts we play, the parts we hide, and the parts we can never forget.

"It's Hell Week. You suffer rivals, make friends, and make believe. It happens, it ends, and you leave. The Drexel Players invite you to belong, just for a moment, and experience an immersive original work about the parts we play, the parts we hide, and the parts we can never forget."
The piece is a theatrical "undressing" about the unique, beautiful, and tragic relationships young artists share with each other and will be loosely based on the stories, rituals, and experiences of the Drexel Players. "Parts" invites its audience into the world of a fictional college theatre ensemble at a fictional university as they tech, open, close, and strike their production of the fictional stage classic, “Town” by Gene Wilder.
As the university's only undergraduate theatre student organization, The Drexel Players apply foundations in art, science, and industry to engage students in the creation of fresh and thrilling ensemble work. Drawing from a core of artists and collaborators with interdisciplinary backgrounds, we strive to empower student theatre artists, to stimulate audiences, and to ignite a passion for theatre in all.
Last year we united against the hole in the sky in MONUMENT. This year we are pulling together again as a community of student artists of all backgrounds and disciplines to devise another original piece for the 2013 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
