Choreographer Christina Gesualdi will culminate a 3-week residency with the NLArts campers as they create an original site specific piece. Dancers will be local kids ages 5 to 16 along with some special professional recruits. This special Northern Liberties inspired piece will performed on the stage of Liberty Lands Park. It's an event for the whole family and helps bring back the "community spirit" of early Fringe Festivals. NLArts is a Philadelphia arts organization that expands each child’s appreciation for and participation in their community. This is accomplished through interaction with artists and educators in neighborhood-based performing and visual arts activities. NLArts is based out of the Northern Liberties Community Center.
