Amy Frear and Chelsea Sanz met after Amy's play BLUEBEARD was selected as part of Philadelphia Dramatists/Philly Primary's Stages new play reading series and Chelsea chose the piece to direct. After a lot of positive response at the end of the series, Chelsea approached Amy to direct more of her shows, and thus began their collaboration. We take on four strong female characters in NAPOLEON PRINCESS GROUPIE NEWSPAPER this September 2012 at the Laurie Beechman Cabaret Theater at the University of the Arts. AMY FREAR is an actor, writer, and theatre artist currently spending her time between Philadelphia, PA and Brooklyn, NY. Originally from the Philadelphia area, she holds her MFA in acting from the University of Washington in Seattle. She primarily focuses on working with playwrights who blur the line of traditional and non-traditional plays.
