DysFUNctional Theater was founded in 2001 by Ruchama Bilenky (bass player for the band Sylvia Platypus) with the mission of bringing obscure, female-oriented works to the Philadelphia stage. DysFUNctional Theater celebrated its 10th anniversary with Le Mirage/Dead City Philly which is a world premier and the company's first presentation of an original work.
