Founded in 2010, pillardance is a Philadelphia-based contemporary dance company dedicated to the creation and performance of original works by Courtney Colon. Pillar strives to present dance as a high level art form, while at the same time still appealing to a broader, non-dance audience. Our mission is to make dance accessible, without losing our artistry. We achieve this in part by being influenced by many different styles within the dance world, and never taking ourselves too seriously.
