Two New York-based dance companies, Catie Cuan Dance and Megan Lynn/Asterial Dance, present, Bricolage, an evening of four original Philadelphia premieres. This dynamic movement event has many inspirations, from Yeats's Byzantium and lamp lighting to consciousness and the human experience.

Catie Cuan Dance is a Brooklyn-based dance company, founded in the spring of 2013. Catie Cuan Dance presents original movement narratives, often drawing inspiration from literature, visual art, personal anecdotes, and technology.
Asterial Dance is a New York-based contemporary dance company that seeks to positively impact lives through dance by providing high quality performances to the public, classes and workshops for the seasoned dancer, and outreach programs for youth and adults in the community. We believe that dance is an avenue for self-expression and a conduit of communication between the passionate artist and the admiring spectator. Asterial Dance, founded in spring 2012 by Megan Lynn, has presented works at a variety of NYC performance venues, including but not limited to the White Wave John Ryan Theater, Dixon Place, and the Ailey Citigroup Theater.
