Description

Help! Someone has lost her imagination and she needs you to guide her on a quest to find it! In this theatrical adventure through Smith Playhouse, an intimate audience navigates the terrain alongside the actors. For children ages 5 and up and anyone who’s ever needed help finding their imagination.

///////

Dragon’s Eye Theatre makes theatrical experiences celebrating the power of imagination for audiences of all ages and backgrounds. In Seek and Hide, playwright P. Seth Bauer (The Karma Cookie) teams up with director Suzana Berger (2010 Fringe hit Jester’s Dead) to create a unique and thrilling adventure that takes audiences on a whirlwind journey through Philadelphia treasure Smith Memorial Playhouse in search of a child’s lost imagination. Along the way, you’ll meet a stressed-out parent, a drill sergeant who’s very serious about playing, the Trikings who can cross the wild river, and many other quirky residents of a land that is only accessible by believing it exists. Prepare to make music, blaze a path through a forest of toys, and follow where your imagination leads to help someone in need find her own. Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse is located on Reservoir Drive in East Fairmount Park, just above Kelly Drive near 33rd and Oxford Streets. Plenty of free parking on site. Also easily accessible by public transportation. For detailed directions, visit Smith’s website: www.smithkidsplayplace.org. Seek and Hide audience size is very limited, so reserve your tickets early!
